A note from Mom of "Welcome Home" on Dec. 17, 2010
Well, Stephanie and Anthony fly back to Germany later today. They flew out just before New Year's to the East Coast where some of her family live. Her grandmother (father's mother) died earlier in the year and they were planning to do a memorial service for her while Steph was back. The kids were so surprised, as was everyone there! It meant a lot to so many of those men, not just Anthony and Steph.
Thanks again so very, very much. It was quite an event, I tell you! Exhausting, emotional, beautiful and a memory that will never fade!

This is Martha, aunt to Robert Bacigalupo, our family loves what you are doing for all of these wonderful soldiers....Robert's homecoming was so emotional and memorable for my family and children. I want to thank you for organizing such joy for the families of those who have served us. Thank you.
Jim, we want to thank you so much for the wonderful adventure we had last night! We had never been to a Bulls game before, it was a great game. From the Bus to the game and back everyone had a great time. Lots of comraderie with all branches of service. The WWII Veterans had such an awesome time. Marlis and Rich Marrello
